The H.I. Waterman Sustainability Award is a prize awarded by TU Delft to a leading scientist.
We produced two videos for TU Delft.
The first video explains what the price means and why it matters. Ronald E. Waterman talks about his father, the name giver of the award, and about the importance of the award.
The second video placed the award winner, Dr. Marie-Eve Aubin-Tam of the Faculty of Bionanoscience (Applied Sciences), in the spotlight. She won the H.I. Waterman Sustainability Award with her research on nature-inspired materials. For example, she made mother-of-pearl in the lab using different types of bacteria.
